Latest WhatsApp Update: Spam Messages Feature

I would say that its a good thing that WhatsApp are not relenting when it comes to improving their messaging app. Amazing updates are being rolled out on a daily, few days ago Whatsapp released a feature that has to do with Group description, a week or two before that it was the payment feature update.

Lately, WhatsApp is working round the clock to stop the dissemination of spam messages on its platform. WhatsApp is said to deal with a component that will indicate “Sent Message” if the post has been sent from chat or from the same chat.

The feature has been spotted by WABetaInfo, the WhatsApp update tracker. It claims that the feature is seen in WhatsApp beta for Android v2.18.67, and that the feature is disabled by default. Alongside, the Stickers feature first spotted on a Windows Phone beta, has now made its way to the beta app for Android. However, the feature is also disabled by default.

Whats your take on this guys, the feature is expected to come in the next update.
