It looks like smartwatches are now taking over the watch market. New and frequently improved model are coming up on a daily. Just recently news got to us that two new smartwatches dubbed Mobvoi TicWatch S2 and E2 will be rolling out with safety and fitness features.
The new features which are part of the company’s TicMotion software suite should make their way to all TicWatch devices powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear SoCs, so they’re not exclusive to the E2 and S2.
The most notable and breath-taking safety feature making its way to the watches is the fall detection, which will trigger an alarm and automatically notify your emergency contacts if it senses a sudden drop or fall, awesome right? You haven’t seen nothing yet.
Mobvoi is also introducing its own gestures to its smartwatches, which will allow you to access Google Assistant with a simple wrist movement.
A personal trainer feature will also be added, which will allow its users to follow along with on-device workouts. You’ll also be able to set fitness goals and compare them with other TicWatch users around the world (take a moment to imagine this).
